美濃燒（Minoyaki）是日本岐阜縣土岐市、多治見市、瑞浪市、可兒市等地生產的陶瓷器的統稱，這些地方在古代為美濃國。美濃燒的起源可以追溯到1300年前，為歷史悠久的傳統工藝。
 
這位作家的經歷非常特別，從建築師轉行成為陶藝家。他以獨特的設計和色彩運用受到大家的喜愛。英樹先生曾代表日本參加國際陶瓷博覽會，他的作品以使用黃金和白金，展現高級感，受到世界各國的高度評價和喜愛。他在保持傳統的基礎上，注重現代感，創造出獨特有趣的器皿。

Minoware is one of the major ceramics in Japan. It is from Toki City, Gifu Prefecture. It is considered that the history of Mino Ware was started about 1300 years ago.
 
Born and raised in Mino, a place of tradition, Hideki Hyashi would like to create works that live in the 21st century. He a unique profile of switching his career from an architect to a ceramic artist. His use of  architect instinct in his works created  unique designs and shown in the sketches on his works. His works was definitely something special that stood out from the rest during my trip to Seto.
 
A set not only like art; its small sized sakeware (Chyoku) is like a shot glass while the opened rim best delivers the aroma characteristic of the sake.
