瀨戶燒為日本六古窯之一。"瀨戶物" Setomono 成為指稱陶磁器的一般名詞, 可見瀨戶燒對日本陶器的重要性。
更紗窯(日語:SARASAGAMA,發音為さらさがま)是位於日本愛知縣瀨戶市的一家陶藝工作室, 其作品是近期熾手可熱的陶器, 複雜,富現化感又獨特的設計在日本及歐洲非常有名。
更紗窯以練上技法製作陶瓷作品。這種技法涉及將不同顏色的黏土折疊在一起,創造出多層次的效果, 可見影片。
作品通常具有精美的圖案和獨特的風格。他們的陶瓷器具包括花瓶、茶碗、花器等。這款杯型是比較百搭的款式, 可帶出清酒的醇厚及旨味; 其質感亦可令清酒感覺冷涼暢快. 欣賞這個令人看上癮的杯子時別忘了喝酒哦!

Setoware is a type of Japanese pottery, stoneware, and ceramics produced in and around the city of Seto in Aichi Perfecture, Japan. It is one of the Six Ancient Kilns of Japan. The Japanese term for Seto ware is "setomono", which is also used as a generic term for all pottery, you can see the importance of Setoware to the Japanese pottery culture.
Sarasagama, is a pottery workshop located in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. Its work is gaining popularity worldwide, especially in Japan and Europe, known for its contemporary, sophisicated design wtih great use of colors.
Sarasagama specializes in creating ceramics using the nerikomi technique. This method involves layering different colored clays to create multi-dimensional effects.
The shape of the sakeware is a fit for different kinds of sake, outward shape bringing out the aroma; rounded shape bringing out the umami of the sake; and the texture on the surface conveys a cool and refreshing feeling.
Don't forget to enjoy your drink- the artwork is simply addictive to look at!
This kiln is where I got most of my items from my Seto trip. A humble looking kiln yet a great discovery!
