About Shipping (Last updated 5 Apr 2024)

We understand the process of transportation may cause damage to your beloved new sakeware.

To ensure your newly bought item is transported by a trustworthy partner, at the moment we only offer EMS by Japan Post as the only delivery option. EMS by Japan Post is a safe and efficient option with tracking number and insurance provided. 

Shipping time:
Depending on the delivery zone you are located in, shipping duration lands between 3-14 days excluding customs clearance timing, and our order processing time of 1-2 business days.  

 

Zone 1. 2 (3-5 days)+ (1-2 process days)*: Asia

Zone 3 (5-7 days) (1-2 process days)*: Oceania, Canada, Mexico, Middle East, Europe

Zone 4 (9-12 days) + (1-2 process days)*: U.S., Central and South America

Shipping Costs:
Depending on the zone you are in, we offer different shipping costs.
Zone 1 & 2: 50 HKD flat rate; free shipping upon 700 HKD purchase
Zone 3:  120 HKD flat rate; free shipping upon 1,350 HKD purchase
Zone 4: 180-230 HKD depending on weight of parcel (<=0.8kg: 180 HKD/ 0.8-1.6kg: 210 HKD/ >=1.6kg: 230 HKD). Free shipping upon 2,000 HKD purchase.

Our shipping calculator will show the amount of shipping cost during check out. 

Order Processing Time

  • Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days. You’ll receive a confirmation email once your order is shipped.


If you prefer other delivery methods, please write in notes in your order and we will get in touch with you regarding shipping charge changes (if any) before we confirm processing your order. 

Return and Refund Policy (Last updated 5 Apr 2024)

1. Introduction
Thank you for your purchase. We hope you are happy with your purchase. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, upon approval of application, you may return it to us for a full refund. Please see below for more information on our return policy.

2. Returns

  • All returns must be postmarked within seven (7) days of the goods receipt date.

  • All returned items must be in new and unused condition, with all original packaging, giftboxes, and gifts with purchase (if any) included.

  • Shipping costs will not be refunded.

  • Note our premium artist collection art piece is unique and cannot be exchanged but only refunded.

  • Please contact our customer service to check whether your item is eligible for exchange or refund.

 
3. Return process

  • To return an item, please email customer service at contact@sakewarelab.com with your order number and reason for refund. Upon approval of refund request, we will send you a return authorization number as record and the instructions for return and refund. Please include this number in the “Remarks” column of your postage when you fill in the information.

  • Note you will be responsible for all return shipping charges. We strongly recommend that you use a trackable method to mail your return for a successful return.

 
4. Refunds

  • Upon receiving your return and inspecting the condition of your item, we will process your return. Please allow at least 5 days from the receipt of your item to process your return. Refunds may take
    1-2 billing cycles to appear on your credit card statement, depending on your chosen payment supplier. We will notify you by email when your return has been processed.

 
5. Insurance for shipping

  • We do inspection before shipping for every order to make sure products are shipped out without defects.

  • Our chosen shipping method EMS by Japan Post is a safe method that included insurance in case of damage or loss. We may ask for information from you to process insurance claim in any case the parcel is lost or damaged.

 
6. Changes to This Policy

  • We may update this return policy periodically. Please review it regularly. We reserve the right to change, modify, or remove the contents of the Services at any time or for any reason at our sole discretion without notice. However, we have no obligation to update any information on our Services. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of the Services.
